Wallace Nutting antique hand-colored photographs. Nutting’s studio (at its peak in the 1910s-1920s) employed colorists to hand-tint black and white photographs. These prints were mass-produced, but the hand-coloring and matting varied. His most common subjects: colonial-style interiors, pastoral landscapes, flower gardens, and women in period costume. Priced individually.
